Yesterday I felt like the most amazing woman alive! 🤣
I did something that I had never done before, that had needed to be done for a while, so…I did feel guilty for not doing it sooner….
NONETHELESS, I still did it!!!
I made my way to Home Depot, bought what I needed, came home and did it!
Yes. I did it.
I replaced the toilet seat in the girls’ bathroom!
You can do that? Toilet seats can just be replaced?!
Evidently they can!
And this seat, for the whopping $51.35 that I spent, has a slow-close lid that reminds me of hydraulics! 😂
And…since I was changing the seat, I went ahead and cleaned around the toilet, the entire bathroom floor, cleaned the plunger 🚽💩😷 and toilet brush, refilled the toilet paper and wiped down the walls.
Wow.
I felt so accomplished.
And today on my “no-gym” day, I’m enjoying a little café time at Sun & Bloom Cafe. It’s a new little spot, cute and quaint.
Later today, I’ll head home and line my counter with white Styrofoam containers, filling them with tacos, Doritos and chocolate chip cookies. Fourteen kids so far are riding the bus to youth tonight, and I’ll send them off with dinner.
So apparently this week’s accomplishments include toilet seats and tacos. 😂
But back to my café time…

THANK YOU GOD for what You are doing in my life, my husband’s life and my children’s lives!
Thank You, Father, for favor.
Thank You that Your Word says I am the HEAD and not the tail, ABOVE only and not beneath!
Thank You that Philippians 1:6 reminds me that You have begun a good work in me and YOU ARE NOT FINISHED!
Thank You that You don’t leave me where I am, but You will COMPLETE the good work in me.
Thank You that my dreams are not stupid, but You placed them in my heart and will carry them out to completion.
I rely on You.
I trust You.
And I love You!
I thank You in advance for DOING the work through me that You need done. Thank you that I can trust YOU with the next steps!

Maybe today looks like sitting in a café dreaming about what’s ahead. Maybe it looks like replacing a toilet seat.
Maybe it looks like fourteen Styrofoam containers filled with tacos before sending a bunch of kids off to youth.
Whatever it looks like, I can thank Him now for what I haven’t seen yet.
